NASA Selects Telegrids WZRDnet Mesh Network

NASA has selected TELEGRID’s WZRDnet Low-Power Wireless Mesh Network for inclusion in its new Innovation Ecosystem website.  This website is part of a NASA initiative aimed at fostering technology innovation and collaboration at NASA and beyond.

The WZRDnet Mesh Network was 1 of only 44 technologies selected by NASA for the site.  More importantly,  TELEGRID is 1 of only 10 innovation partners  in  the wireless space  which includes  major wireless innovators like Lucent, IBM, and Motorola. To visit the WZRDnet page  on the NASA website click here.  To visit the TELEGRID page on the NASA website click here.  TELEGRID would like to thank Booz, Allen and Hamilton for helping us achieve this distinction.

The WZRDnet  Low- Power  Wireless  Mesh  Network provides voice and data connectivity in  austere environments with limited or no existing infrastructure. With a range of 2km per hop and 32 hops per call the network can provide coverage to many users over a large area.  WZRDnet  is an ideal solution for the military, disaster response, mining, oil & gas, etc.  For more information on the WZRDnet contact Roney International today!
